Game Day APP

The Reserve and Senior Grades will be using the Game Day App, please check this out on our website under Sporty.  This does not replace the scoresheet, we still want our scorers to continue their upskilling and we still require the Team Sheets to be completed, especially for ground registrations.  Please note you need someone to download the App on their phone, it is important that someone from your team attend this training.  

This is purely to note the score of the game for the website so the Association can ascertain the winner of the grade.

  • Thursday Evenings - Rangatahi League (U19 Age grade)
  • Friday Evenings - Premier Men and Senior Men (This may vary)
  • Saturday Afternoons (Note - timeslots may change)
    • 12.30pm - Reserve/Senior Men & Reserve Women Grade
    • 2.30pm  - Premier Women & Reserve Women Grade
    • 4.30pm  - Premier Mens
    • 6.30pm - Spare timeslot if needed

Pre-Xmas - 11th October to 13th December 2025

Post-Xmas - 24th January to 28th March 2026

**Important** - Games scheduled for Saturday 7th Feb 2026 will be played on Sunday 8th Feb due to U13 RookieSox tournament being held at the park.

Duration of Games

Premiers:  7 Innings

Reserves/Seniors - 1.5 hours timed games

Fees for the Season

Premier Grade - $1400 per team

Reserve Grade $1350 per team

Senior Grade - $1250 per team

Transfers

We are now doing Transfers Online, please visit the website to ascertain the process.  Please note this is for Clubs ONLY.  All Transfers must be cleared Friday 12pm prior to their first game, the cost for Transfers is $40 after 11 October 2025.

Loan Player Applications

All Loan Player applications are due before 11 October 2025 after this date they will incurr a $50 fee which will be invoice to the Loaned Club.

Umpires this Season

Clubs will be required to umpire this season, so please ensure that you have those selected players to attend the Umpires Training Sessions as advertised on their website page.  

Manawatū Scoring Lessons

Scoring classes will be held at the Park Clubhouse for anyone interested in learning. First dates for 2025-26 season are TBD. Any queries please contact Alison Kensington - kenali@xtra.co.nz

Uniforms

Teams are asked to lodge their colours for their Clubs.

Training Grounds

There is to be no training on the skin diamonds, unfortunately we do not have the manpower to be able to prep grounds everynight after use, which is required to keep the standard of grounds we have.

Our seasonal calendar is now updated and you can peruse the upcoming tournaments and events

Defaults are to be notified at least five days prior to that game if you are unable to field a team, this will prevent opposition teams turning up with no team to play.  Please be considerate of other teams.

Cancellations

Cancellations will be made at 10.00am for the Saturday games and 4pm on Thursday evenings, they will be notified on the MSA Sporty App and our Facebook page.  Please note any rain out games will be played immediately on the Sunday after the day that rained out - Same time & Diamond. Umpire duties also carry over.
